As you may remember, I decided for my 50th birthday to do a road trip to Milford Sound, somewhere I hadn’t been before. I have been back since mid November but covid and work have kind of gotten in the way of me writing anything about the trip… but that changes now!Continue reading “My Latest New Zealand Road Trip – Day 1 & 2”
I keep telling myself that I will write more but then don’t and months go past until I realise I haven’t posted. It is so weird not having anything to say when I always have something to say!Continue reading “I am literally useless… at blogging”
So I am turning 50 this year. Firstly, I can’t quite believe I am 50 and secondly, does anyone else think that is old?Continue reading “Plans For My 50th Birthday…”
I’ve got no excuses so lets not talk about the fact that it’s been about 15 months since my last post…Continue reading “Long Time, No Post…”
I thought I would let you know what my travel plans are for 2020 – because I know you are all holding your breath with excitement about where I am going this year!
Alright, alright.. here is a travel related post – as mentioned in a previous post I had been to Vancouver, Portland and Seattle in November for a couple of weeks and absolutely loved it all! Portland had been on my radar for a while and when I started planning my trip there everyone I talked to said I MUST go to Voodoo Doughnuts.
And because I always do everything everyone tells me.. I went to Voodoo Doughnuts…
So it has been an age since I did a 500 Word post, 14 months to be precise. But I was struggling for something to write about so I thought I would do a good old 500 Word post.. surely I could come up with 500 words about this photo!?
So it is the end of January – I guess that means it should be time for an update of just what happened this month.
I had a few day trips planned on my recent travel to Europe, which turned out to be some of my favourite days. Here is where I went & what I did on those day trips:
In my part of the world, Christmases are sunny & hot. We don’t sit around a roaring fire drinking hot chocolate while it snows outside, we are sweltering under a summer sun. So when I got the chance to experience a winter Christmas Market in Germany, how could I resist.Continue reading “A Christmas Market Experience”
I am the slackest of the slack when it comes to writing on this blog. Sometimes I even wonder why I am doing it at all.. Anyhoo, here is an update from my time in Copenhagen. Also apologies if you have seen these photos on Facebook or Instagram, I honestly haven’t had the time to sort through and edit my copious amount of photos!
I honestly can’t believe that this trip is finally here. Thought I would give a quick update on where I am at with everything & how I got there:
