Ok so I know I’ve been MIA for a while, mostly because I kind of fell out of love with all kinds of social media including blogging. But I actually have something to say so I thought I would blog about it.. so here we are…
So it has been an age since I did a 500 Word post, 14 months to be precise. But I was struggling for something to write about so I thought I would do a good old 500 Word post.. surely I could come up with 500 words about this photo!?
I have to say.. after the first couple months of this year, March seemed to zoom by.
I hate February. It is my least favourite month of the year, so it is probably just as well it is also the shortest month of the year.
So it is the end of January – I guess that means it should be time for an update of just what happened this month.
It’s sunflower season here (January to March) in Queensland so I decided to go on a little road trip to see if I could find any… here’s what happened:

In my part of the world, Christmases are sunny & hot. We don’t sit around a roaring fire drinking hot chocolate while it snows outside, we are sweltering under a summer sun. So when I got the chance to experience a winter Christmas Market in Germany, how could I resist.
