You may have picked up on this but my next trip to England is coming up pretty darn fast (though, not fast enough in my mind!) so I thought I’d share with you my previous road tripping adventures that I’ve had in England.
This writing challenge only went up to Day 30 so because December has 31 days in it, I decided to do a free for all today. The topic I’ve chosen (as you can tell from the title) is my 12 favourite photos from 2016.
Back in November 2010 I was on a road trip with my big sister, driving around the South West of England. One of the coolest places we went was a place called Corfe Castle.
I definitely didn’t get the ‘green thumb’ gene from my parents but I do know a good flower when I see it & Butchart Gardens in Victoria, Canada had some pretty nice looking flowers.
Medieval streets, bagpipes & chatty Scottish cabbies.. what’s not to love about Edinburgh?
What happens when you don’t love the place you’ve visiting. How do you cope with the disappointment when your expectations are severely quashed & you don’t want to do anything?

I don’t think I fully appreciated those words when I visited Paris in November 2010. It was at the end of a three-week trip to the UK with my sister and I think that I was tired and ready for my own bed.
