And so begins my recap of my 2nd day in Melbourne – although, I didn’t actually get up to as much as I thought I did but I was still pretty busy through the day.
Because I have a lot to write about my Melbourne trip, I thought I would break it down into days instead, so here goes Day One:
I haven’t posted in a while simply because I didn’t have anything to write and I was waiting for my trip to Melbourne before writing anything.
Well it’s been a while since my last 500 Words post so I thought I would kick things off this year with a photo from one of my favourite places from my 2017 travels.
I was having a look at some photos the other day when I came across some from my visit to Victoria on Vancouver Island way back in 2013 so I thought I would share some of them with you 🙂
Since I have already got a couple of trips booked I thought I would share with you all what I have planned in the way of travel in 2018.. including what I am doing in November, which I have finally decided on after much soul-searching.

Back in September 2015 I ticked off a bucket list item that had been there since 2008 after I saw the horrifically violent movie, In Bruges, and that was to visit the medieval city of Bruges in Belgium.
I like walking, my knees however have different ideas but on my recent visit to the city I love I made myself go out each day to wander the streets of London.
Confession time: I don’t know if I liked York or not.
