Still posting photos from my early morning outing on Saturday because I've pretty much done nothing else since... So here's a man in a kayak..

As I was driving around on Saturday morning, there were a few places that made me stop in my tracks. This was one of them. I have been told by a colleague who lives in the area that this is now a childcare centre but its still a super cute church to me

If you followed my stories on Saturday, you'll know that I got up at stupid o'clock to go see a sunrise. What I didn't say was that I didn't actually check the weather report and we'd had cloudy, rainy days for pretty much a week (we are back to those again this week). I did look out the window at about 3.30am & saw stars so I figured it would be alright. I had gone to one place & I wasn't very inspired so decided to do the North Moreton Bay Tourist Drive (recommended doing this if you're in Brisbane) and came across this view just past the Shorncliffe Pier. Pretty magical really. In the foreground is Moreton Bay, in the background is the Port of Brisbane. There is no filter on this shot, just straight from the phone. There were only a handful of people out at this time, which was also pretty nice.

This house literally stopped me in my tracks as I drove the North Moreton Bay Tourist Route yesterday morning. I haven't been, but I imagine this is what houses look like in parts of Florida. The other amazing thing about this house is that if you turn around, it has amazing views over Moreton Bay

Loved this scene when I went passed, I had to stop & go back. So serene.

IT'S FRIDAY!!! I might have had a short week at work but man it feels like it has gone on forever. Not sure how I would have coped if today was only Thursday. Luckily it isn't but I'm already hanging out for 4.30pm (it's only 8am!!) What are your plans for the weekend? I'm planning on doing SFA Saturday & of course spending the day with my gg.niece on Sunday as per usual.
