I loved Camden.. like REALLY loved it. I was surprised actually how much I loved it but one thing I loved the most? The street art of course.
I initially visited Camden Town on Friday 3rd November 2017 and loved it so much that I went back on the Sunday as well. Both times I found some very cool street art that I am going to share with you now:
Street art is something that I really love – though I do prefer murals and pictures over tagging. Every place I visit, I try to find out if there is a street art scene here.
Do you like street art?
Where is some of the best street art you’ve seen?
Fantastic pictures, Sarah. I, too, loved Camden, but obviously need to return. For me, it was the market stalls, the canal walk, and the statue of tiny Amy Winehouse, poor drug addicted musical genius with all the wrong people around her.
I’m trying to think of my favourite street art city in NZ. Is it Christchurch?
On a slightly different tangent, Chicago has great public art. Everywhere you go in that fabulous, walkable city, there are statues, green spaces, carvings, and on and on.

Oh I’ve actually heard that about Chicago! I definitely need to go back to both the Shoreditch & Camden areas & explore more.
Christchurch is definitely good for street art. It became really popular after the earthquakes. Dunedin is another city has has a really cool street art scene.

These are so cool! I’ve never really sought out street art before. I’m thinking I might have to start when I visit cities.
