‘Travel’ and ‘quiet’ are two words that don’t really go together – from the controlled chaos of airports or train stations to pushing through the crowds of like-minded travellers to see that tiny little photo of a lady painted by some guy a few hundred years ago.

But there are moments when you stand in awe of where you are. It might be on top of that mountain. Or it might be on a boat in the middle of an ocean. You find the quiet.

I find my quiet in sculptures. There is something serenely beautiful and peaceful when it comes to sculptures.
