This writing challenge only went up to Day 30 so because December has 31 days in it, I decided to do a free for all today. The topic I’ve chosen (as you can tell from the title) is my 12 favourite photos from 2016.
Before I get into all that, I just want to say
- Thank you to all those to have read my posts
- Thank you to all those who commented
- Thank you to all those who followed me
- Thank you to all those who nominated me for blogger awards
- And BIG Thank You to all those I have connected with over the last twelve months, especially Bex, Tanja & Lui Maria. Though we have never met, I consider you all friends
I am looking forward to seeing what the next 12 months throws at me & travelling to some places I haven’t been before. I can’t wait to share my adventures with you all.
So HAPPY NEW YEAR. I hope that whatever you do, wherever you are and whoever you spend it with, it’s a special time for you. Out with the year that was 2016 and in with the New & Improved 2017!
And now back to our regular program.
Actually I’ve chosen 13 (unlucky for some) photos to share because I just couldn’t choose which one to get rid of. All these photos were posted to my Instagram – if I had to go through ALL my photos from this year, it would have been so much bigger than 13!
Most of the photos I’ve chosen are actually from Brisbane. I didn’t travel that much in the last 12 months so a lot of these are just from my random wanderings around the city that I live in.. so here we go: I’ll put the Brisbane ones first, followed by a Sydney one and a couple NZ ones (those ones might not surprise you because I keep posting them everywhere!)
Just putting the finishing touches to my blog post about my recent road trip.. loads of photographs including probably my favourite photo from the trip.. not too shabby right! This gorgeous building is the Church of the Good Shepherd at Lake Tekapo. It also happens to be the most photographed church in New Zealand .. if not one of the most photographed buildings.
My two week holiday in New Zealand's South Island have come to an end. Back to Brisbane tomorrow & back to work on Wednesday to save for the next trip. . I've had an awesome time driving around the countryside, spending time with family & friends and of course having some cracking autumn weather… Ka kite anō .. see you again
Honourable mentions – I took these next two photos a couple days ago on my recent trip back to Christchurch for Christmas and thought I’d include them because I kind of like them 🙂
