Day 29: What Are Your Goals For The Next Thirty Days?

January is going to be a reasonably quiet month as I gear up for my next trip in February, but there are a couple things I want to do.

I want to pay off as much of my trip as possible. Luckily I am pretty much 90% done. There are just two more accommodation bookings that I want to pay for so I don’t have to worry when I’m there. I’ve also got to get the entrance fees paid for a couple of places that I’m visiting.

I need to get a new backpack to use as my carry on and I need new sneakers – it’s all very exciting stuff let me tell you!

I would like to start attacking my spare room – who knows what I’ll find in that jungle.

But before everything else, I am hostingย my first (and probably my only) NYE party. Well when I say ‘party’ I really mean gathering of about half a dozen people and when I say ‘hosting’ I mean I’ll supply the plates. But I’m looking forward to it. It’s just going to be pretty chilled out – with hopefully some fireworks as well.

    1. This trip feels like its been so long coming but in reality I’ve only been planning it for about 6 months! Found out from my niece & her fiancรฉ that it will most likely be snowing while I’m doing my road trip.. thats both scary & exciting ๐Ÿ˜Š

      1. Same. I’ve had one absolutely magical New Year’s Eve experience that will be forever hard to top, and unless my plans involve something that has the potential to, you can find me at home under a pile of pillows and blankets drinking either hot chocolate or tea, possibly watching the ball drop on tv. ๐Ÿ™‚
