As weird as it might sound to people who know me well, I hate talking about myself so I am not sure I will be able to get 30 facts.

I am going to cheat slightly and use some that I already had under the ‘About Me’ page.

1. I am from New Zealand and am very proud to be a Kiwi
2. I hate when people ask me if I am an Australian when I’m travelling – we have very different accents!
3. My first time out of New Zealand was when I was about 27 and it was only to Tasmania, Australia
4. London is my favourite city in the world
5. I am constantly planning trips I would like to take

   

6. I love airports and getting to my destinations.
7. I hate queues and rude people
8. I am right-handed
9. I am the youngest of 8 kids
10. I have six tattoos

    

11. Sometimes I have a lot to say but often I don’t say it
12. When (not if) I wake in the middle of the time, I struggle to get back to sleep
13. I have a bit of an obsessive compulsive disorder
14. I have had counselling  (not for the OCD thing!)
15. I am good at organising people & events

    

16. My favourite dessert is Pavlova (which we all know was invented by the Kiwis!)
17. I am struggling to come up with 30 things about myself
18. I hate cleaning
19. I am still (and suspect will always be) treated like the baby of the family even though I’m in my 40’s!
20. My favourite play is Hamlet & I’ve seen about 6 performances of it

    

21. I’m not a huge Tom Cruise fan but I do love the Mission Impossible movies
22. I like taking photos but am always surprised when people like them
23. I don’t like the beach
24. I miss my dad
25. I have lived in Aussie for 14 years (I didn’t think I would last 1 year!)
26. I currently have a cold (feeling sorry for myself!)
27. I travel solo but hate taking selfies so there aren’t a lot of photos of me on my travels

    

28. I have experienced an earthquake (actually quite a few of them)
29. I was interviewed for the news in NZ
