I’ve posted this photo before and it’s likely that I’ll post it again in the future because it’s just that damn cool 🙂

It was the end of the day after I had been on the road for a good 5 or so hours.

I had finally reached my destination and was down by the lake stretching my legs, taking in the gorgeous surroundings in the Autumn afternoon.

The sun was setting behind  the mountains and I managed to capture this shot on my camera (I’m ashamed to say it was in auto-mode).

This was the result.

Every time I look at this photo (which is actually quite a lot) I am transported back to that day and one of my favourite places on the planet.

I usually criticise my work relentlessly but I really love everything about this photo – for me, it captures a perfect moment perfectly.
