Photo Essay – And The Rest Is Silence

I love cities, I really do but sometimes it’s great to get out of the city and see what a country is really like.

So here are some photos I’ve taken over the years of various countrysides.

I chose the “And the rest is silence” quote from Shakespeare’s Hamlet for the title of this post, because a) it is my favourite play & it fit perfectly with the theme for today; and b) when you’re out of the city & in the middle of nowhere, all around you is quiet andΒ for a split second you can feel like the only person alive.
